Software Engineer
JOB DUTIES:
Architect and implement scalable, secure, and reliable data platforms supporting real-time and batch processing workloads. Install, configure, and maintain enterprise-level infrastructure, including Linux systems, containerized environments, and data platform components. Provision and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) to support distributed data pipelines and scalable storage architectures. Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards by enforcing encryption, access control, and audit logging policies.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines. Implement disaster recovery solutions, including automated backups, replication strategies, and high-availability failover setups. Manage authentication and access control using IAM, LDAP, SSO, and secure secrets management tools such as Vault and AWS Secrets Manager. Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines with Apache Spark, Beam, Python, SQL, and orchestration tools like Airflow or Azure Data Factory. Work under supervision. Travel and/or relocation to unanticipated client sites throughout USA is required.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Computer Information Systems / Information Technology / Engineering (ANY) or closely related field with Twenty Four (24) months of experience in the job offered or as an IT Consultant/ Developer/Analyst/Programmer/ Engineer or closely related.
- Employer also accepts a Bachelor’s degree(or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science / Computer Information Systems / Information Technology / Engineering (ANY) or closely related field, earned through any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience as determined by a professional evaluation service plus Twenty Four (24) months of progressive work experience in related field.
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience of Twenty Four (24) months with Python and Scala is required. Travel and/or relocation is required to unanticipated client sites within USA.
- International travel is not required. The frequency of travel is currently not known as it depends on the client and project requirement that cannot be currently anticipated.
- Employer provides Information technology services to various clients in USA and hence implementing projects will require such travel.
